Beloved companion of Andrea Mitchell; ex-husband of Jan Christian Hafer and the late Shaney Frey; father of Henry Christopher (Deanna Colette) Frey, Lawrence Keith (Jacqueline Elizabeth Klock) Frey and Annelise Louise Frey; grandfather of Lauren Isabel Frey and Sebastian Shane Frey; brother of Lorraine (Walter) McAvoy. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, on Wednesday, May 5 from 12 noon to 1 p.m., where service will be held at 1 p.m. Inurnment Arlington National Cemetery Columbarium on Thursday, May 6 at 1 pm.
