Frederick H. Freund, Jr.

On Monday, January 11, 2010, of Silver Spring, MD. He served as a special agent with the FBI for 35 years. Survived by his wife of 66 years Mary Broderick Freund. He was born in Washington, D.C. attended Roosevelt High School and graduated from Ben Franklin University. During WWII, he joined the Army Air Corps. Mr. Freund was a member of the Society of former FBI agents, Charter member of the J. Edgar Hoover FBI Post 56 of the American Legion, Fourth Degree of the Knights of Columbus, Rosensteel Council No. 2169; Also survived by many loving and devoted nephews, nieces, grand nephews and nieces, great grand nephews and nieces. Relatives and friends may call at Our Lady of Grace Church, 15661 Norbeck Blvd. , Silver Spring, MD on Thursday, January 14 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Interment Gate of Heaven. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
