On Monday, October 22, 2018, of Adamstown and Kensington, MD. Beloved husband of the late Eleanor B. Fogelgren; father of Christine, Donna (Ray Schrider), Patty (Brian Kelly) and Suzanne (Louis Stevens); grandfather of Jessica, Matt, Laurel, Joe and Nick. Earl was predeceased by two sisters and three brothers. Also known as “Duke”, he was a 1953 retired US Navy veteran working as an aviation machinist. A proud Local 5 retired union plumber, he worked on many local government buildings such as the FBI, Air & Space Museum and Bethesda Naval Hospital. Earl easily made friends wherever he went and enjoyed woodworking and travelling to OBX. Relatives and friends are welcome for visitation at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Sunday, October 28, from 2 to 4 p.m. Private interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery at a later date.
