Of Rockville, MD on Wednesday April 5, 2017, surrounded by loving family after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born on September 4, 1954 in Wilmington, DE, he was the beloved son of the late Joseph Richard and Nellie Anne Divel. He is survived by his devoted brother, Joseph and his wife, Josie Divel; loving sister, Diane and her husband, Jim Resnick. Adored uncle of Laura and her husband, Ken Schlax, Sarah Divel, Tony, Christopher and Bridget Resnick; great-uncle of Vincent, Bradley and Violet Resnick. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Divel.
