JOHN JAMES DICARLO (AGE 66)

On Sunday, April 14, 2019, John DiCarlo of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of Janet Conley; brother of David Di Carlo (Sharon) and the late Rosanna Theresa McNamara, passed away after a prolonged battle with Mutliple Myeloma and Leukemia. John is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.

John was a devoted son to his late mother, Anna DiCarlo, and provided her loving care for 20 years. He was a proud letter carrier with the United States Post Office for over 30 years. An accomplished sailor, avid bicyclist, kayaker, windsurfer, and motorcyclist, he loved having fun, listening to music, and telling stories. He never knew a stranger. A pet lover, his best friend was Scooter Rae, the dog.

A visitation will be held at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Blvd. West, Silver Spring, MD on Sunday, May 5, from 10 to 11 a.m., followed by a Memorial Service at 11 a.m. Interment private. Memorial contributions may be made to Ivan Borello Myeloma Research, 1650 Orleans Street, CRB-1 Rm. 453, Baltimore, MD 21231.
