On Monday, May 31, 2010 of Washington, DC. Beloved wife of the late Mercer Dennis; mother of Pamela Dennis-Thomas, Sheila Dennis- Hayes, Jennie Dennis, Hugh M. Dennis, Jr. and Regina Dennis; mother-in-law of Willard Hayes; grandmother of Stephanie, Rochelle, Mercer and Alanna; sister of James, Harry and Earl F. Simpson; very dear friend of Virgil Thompson. Also survived by a host of loving relatives. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking) on Tuesday, June 8 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday, June 9 from 12 to 1 p.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church, 15 Red Oak Mountain Rd., Woodville, VA 22749, where a Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. Interment Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery.
