On Sunday, October 29, 2017, of Silver Spring, MD., WWII veteran, member of the American Legion, and Master Gardener, beloved husband of the late Margaret M. Denham, father of Royce Denham Jr., Richard Denham (Marlyn), Naomi Lynch (Mark), Carol McDonald Gallo, Kenneth Denham (Rima), Mary Fitzpatrick (Gil), Donna Matteson (Jeff), and the late Donald Denham; grandfather of Suzy, Julia and John, Chris and Kim, Andrea and Shannon, Rachel, Daniel, Sarah and Hannah, Brian, Amanda and Valerie; great-grandfather of Jace, Abby, Dalton, Ellie, Allison and Kathryn.  Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), on Thursday, November 16, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial at St. Catherine Laboure Church, Veirs Mill & Claridge Roads, Wheaton, MD, on Friday, November 17, at 11:00 AM.  Interment Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.  Memorial contributions may be made to Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society, 875 N.
