(Cheryl) Cox, Michael (Patricia) Cox, and the late Patricia Ann and Susan Marie Cox; grandfather of Maj. Robert (US Army) and Kevin Spivey, Dr. Jon (Wendy) Hartinger, Christina (Ryan) Brown, David Adams, Dr. Stephanie (Eric) Swanson, Brian and Evan Cox; great-grandfather of Evin, Kieren and Brennen Brown and Peyton Hartinger; brother of Elizabeth Dempsey. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Wednesday, December 14, 2011, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday, December 16, 2011, at St. Michael’ s Church, 805 Wayne Avenue, Silver Spring, MD, 20910, 10 to 11 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
