On Tuesday, July 3, 2018, of Gaithersburg, MD. Beloved life-long partner of the late Celedonia Chicas; father of Jose Chicas, German Chicas, Juan Chicas, Maria Romero, Julio Chicas, Catalina, Julia, Richard, Evelia, Omar and Wilfredo; brother of Carmen Cortez, Jose Cortez and Ernesto Cortez. Also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other loving family and friends. Relatives and friends may call at St. Mark the Evangelist Church, 7501 Adelphi Road, Hyattsville, MD, on Tuesday, July 10, from 6 to 11 PM, where Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at 10 AM. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
