On Friday, February 5, 2010 of Kensington, MD. Beloved wife of the late Ralph A. Colwell; she is survived by her three children, Carol Lee Beck and her husband Michael of Selbyville, DE, Ralph C. Colwell and his wife Tricia of Middletown, MD and Barbie C. McMahon of Olney, MD; she is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, two brothers, Ray and Richard Fremont, and many devoted friends. Relatives and friends may gather at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD (Valet Parking) on Friday, February 12 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m., with an Eastern Star Service at 4:30 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at Collins Funeral Home. Interment Fort Lincoln Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Loretta A. Colwell Memorial Scholarship Fund (LACMSF), P.O. Box 703, Olney, MD 20832, a scholarship to be awarded to a prospective college student pursuing a degree in education.
