Anne Marie Coakley (Age 76)

On Monday, August 10, 2015, of N. Bethesda, MD. Beloved wife of John D. (Sean) Coakley; mother of Denise M. Romano, Dr. John J. Coakley and Patrick K. Coakley; sister of William Darmody; also survived by 5 grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A native Washingtonian, she graduated from the University of Connecticut with a BA, received a Master’s from the University of Minnesota and began her career as a dietician working for George Washington University Hospital.

Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Thursday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Church, 9601 Old Georgetown Road, Bethesda, MD, on Friday, August 14 at 10 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to S.O.M.E.
