On Monday, May 3, 2010, of Chevy Chase, MD. Beloved wife of 54 years to William H. Clampitt, Jr.; loving mother of Russell W. Clampitt, Henry R. Clampitt, Amy C. Hawthorne and James D. Clampitt; loving grandmother of nine. Also survived by two sisters in Tennessee. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, Friday, May 7, from 10 a.m. until time of Memorial Service at 11 a.m. Inurnment immediately following at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
