On Wednesday, February 27, 2013, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of George G.Carter; mother of Melissa Anne and Elizabeth Marie Carter; sister of Steven James Corkran; daughter of the late James Shelly and Barbara (Betty) Elizabeth Corkran. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. John the Evangelist Historic Church, 9700 Rosensteel Avenue, Silver Spring, MD, on Saturday, March 2, at 3 p.m. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society , P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
