On Saturday, May 15, 2010, of Brookeville, MD. Beloved wife of the late David H. Carey; mother of Diane Carey-Schmitz and her husband, Marion, and William N. Carey and his wife, Jacquelyn; grandmother of Maura Schmitz and Rachel and David Carey. She is also survived by other relatives and dear friends. A Funeral Service will be held at St. John Episcopal Church, 3427 Olney-Laytonsville Road, Olney, MD, on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Glenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations to Montgomery Hospice, 1355 Piccard Drive, Suite 100, Rockville, MD 20950.
