On Friday, January 12, 2018, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of Bernard Calure; loving mother of Jonathan (Rosanne) Calure, M.D. and Christian Calure; devoted grandmother of Camille, Jillian and Roman Calure; cherished sister of Judy Cleveland; and dear aunt of Aaron and Daniel Cleveland. While raising two sons, Barbara attended the University of Maryland, College Park, and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree in English. She worked for many years at the Nuclear Regulatory Commission as a Technical Publications Editor.
