Of University Park, MD, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, July 10, 2016. Dedicated volunteer, world traveler, music lover, and always ready with a laugh and smart, delightful conversation. Beloved wife of the late John W. (Jack) Callaghan; daughter of John J. and Catherine B. Dolan of Philadelphia, PA; and sister of Catherine A. Simon of Ambler, PA. Loving aunt to John J. Simon of Sebastopol, CA; Robert M. Simon of Berwyn Heights, MD; Ann Simon Comstock of Maple Glen, PA, James W. Simon of Lancaster, PA. Her memory will be cherished by numerous great-nieces and great-nephews, and she will be greatly missed by a host of friends. Friends may visit on Thursday, July 14, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 4902 Berwyn Road, College Park, MD 20740. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated immediately following, at 7:30 p.m. in the church. Interment will take place at a later date at New Cathedral Cemetery, Philadelphia, PA.
