Teresa Cahill Maguire (Age 93)

Died peacefully after a full life on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at her home in Bethesda, MD surrounded by family. Beloved wife of the late James M. Maguire and mother of Teresa. Also survived by her loving family, friends and neighbors. She was a native of Leixlip, Co. Kildare, Ireland and emigrated to the United States in 1950. She retired from American Security Bank, as an Assistant Vice-President after a successful 33 year career in banking. Teresa was a founding member of the Washington D.C. St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Tuesday, March 7, 2017, from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Church, 9601 Old Georgetown Road, Bethesda, MD, on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at 11 AM. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethesda Cares, Inc., 7728 Woodmont Avenue, Bethesda, MD 20814.
