MARY LOUISE BYRON

Beloved teacher and friend, died peacefully of Alzheimer’s Disease on Thursday, February 26, 2015, in assisted living at Brooke Grove. She had lived at Leisure World in Silver Spring, MD for 37 years until 2014. Mary, a former nun in the School Sisters of Notre Dame, taught mathematics at Einstein High School in Kensington, MD for 16 years before retiring. She was born in Providence, RI, May 4, 1923, the youngest of three children, and is survived by a nephew and two nieces. Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, March 4, at 12 noon at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 15661 Norbeck Blvd., Silver Spring, MD with visitation at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Montgomery Hospice, the Alzheimer’s Association , or the School Sisters of Notre Dame in Wilton, CT.
