Marcella Mays Burris (Age 85)

On Saturday, November 7, 2015, of Chevy Chase, MD. Beloved wife of Boyd L. Burris, M.D.; loving mother of Margaret Burris (Joyce Doherty), Jennifer Burris Gaylin (Daniel Gaylin) and Arthur Burris (Laura Comay); cherished grandmother of Nadia and Rebecca Gaylin and Andy and Matt Burris; sister of Evelyn Lovelace, Dixie Cruze and Mary Lynn Waterman. Also survived by special niece Beverly Kerr, special nephew Craig McGhee, other relatives and many friends. A Memorial Service will be held at Woodend Sanctuary, 8940 Jones Mill Road, Chevy Chase, MD 20815 on Friday, December 4, 2015 at 2 p.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Audubon Naturalist Society, 8940 Jones Mill Road, Chevy Chase, MD 20815.
