DESMOND E. BRATHWAITE (Age 76)

On Monday, November 7, 2011, Desmond E. Brathwaite of Wheaton, MD departed from this life. Beloved husband of Thecla Brathwaite; father of Wayne E. Brathwaite; god-father of David R. Gill; grandfather of Wayne Jr., Derrick, Desmond, and Deauntae; great-grandfather of Lyric Ma’kiyah; and cherished family member to many others. Funeral Service will be held at St. Matthew Presbyterian Church, 4001 Bel Pre Road, Silver Spring, MD 20906 at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 15. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Matthew Presbyterian Church or Montgomery Hospice at Casey House.
