On Tuesday, July 31, 2018, of Washington, DC.  Beloved Priest of the Archdiocese of Washington; brother of Dwight Brainerd of Salt Spring Island, BC, Canada and Susan Alain of Montreal, Canada.  Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 12th & Monroe Streets NE, Washington, DC, on Monday, August 6, at 10 a.m.  Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.  Memorial contributions should be made to Brookewood School, 10401 Armory Ave., Kensington, MD 20895 or www.brookewood.org.
