On Monday, April 06, 2009, Edward R. Bowen, of Greenbelt, MD.   Beloved father of Gloria (Alain) Boice, Michael (Sue) Bowen, and the late Terry Bowen and Elaine Schrey; grandfather of Sean and Shannon Boice, Stefane Nirella , Keven Bowen, and Danielle and Clayton Schrey; great grandfather of Logan and Chase Bowen.  Also survived by his brother, Robert (Doris) Bowen.  Relatives and friends may call at COLLINS FUNERAL HOME, 500 University Blvd., West, Silver Spring, MD,  Thursday, 7-9 p.m., where service will be held, on  Friday, April 10, at 9 a .m.  Interment Old Leeds Cemetery in Markham, VA.
