On Thursday, February 5, 2015, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved son of the late Daniel Carlin, Sr. and Ellen T. Borden; brother of Eileen (Jim) Borden McComb, of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, Loretta (Sean) McAteer, of Olney, MD, Stephen A. Borden of Burtonsville, MD, Vincent Borden of Punta Gorda, FL, and Alice R. (Steve) Hagan, of Damascus, MD. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call at St. Bernadette’s Church, 72 University Blvd. East, Silver Spring, MD, on Tuesday, February 10, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., where Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. Interment Mount Olivet Cemetery, DC. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John’s College High School, 2607 Military Road, NW, Washington, DC 20015.
