JOHN HOLBROOK BERBERT (Age 88)

On Saturday, December 24, 2016, of Rockville, MD. Beloved husband for 66 years of Claire L. Berbert; father of Michael H. (Rebecca), Christopher L. (Deborah), Laurence H. (Dana), Bruce D. (Sally) and Daniel P. (Rosa); brother of David G. and Richard S. Berbert, Betty Jean Beukers and the late Henry “Hank” Berbert. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and one great-grandson. A celebration of his life will be held at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, on Saturday, January 14, at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Capital Area Food Bank, 4900 Puerto Rico Ave. NE, Washington, DC 20017 or to the Appalachian Trail Conservancy, P.O. Box 807, Harpers Ferry, WV 25425 or to a charity of your choice.
