 On Saturday, July 5, 2014, of Rockville, MD. Beloved husband of Fran Beamer; father of Shannon Elizabeth, Conor Patrick and John Trahey Beamer, III; step-father of Amanda Leann Abell-Puente; brother of Capt. George Patrick Beamer, the late Frances Michaela Deily and the late Robert Kevin Beamer; son of the late Col. Francis X. and the late Frances C. Beamer. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Wednesday, July 9 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Cross Church, 4900 Strathmore Avenue, Garrett Park, MD, on Thursday, July 10 at 10:30 a.m. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in John’s name to Montgomery County SPCA, P.O. Box 637, Washington Grove, MD 20880 or to Our Lady of Good Counsel High School, 17301 Old Vic Boulevard, Olney, MD 20832.
