RUBY LEE BEACH (Age 88)

On Saturday, March 20, 2010, Ruby Lee (Beauchamp) Beach, of Silver Spring, MD, widow of the late Dr. Eugene H. Beach, died following a brief illness. She was born March 15, 1922 at Hyacinth, VA, and married November 11, 1944, at Washington, DC. She was long active in a variety of church, community and historical organizations. She is survived by her only child, Eugene H. (Lori) Beach, Jr. of Highland, MI and three grandchildren, Joshua D. S. (Laura) Beach, Erin E. (Bryan) Sandford, and Ashley E. Beach. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Wednesday, March 24, 2010, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service at Woodside United Methodist Church, 8900 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, MD 20910, on Thursday, March 25, 2010 at 1 p.m. Interment Highland Centre Cemetery, Highland, MI. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either Woodside United Methodist Church or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
