Bro. E. Barry Bartkowiak, FSC (Age 70)

On Tuesday, December 11, 2018, of Beltsville, MD. Born 1948 in Baltimore, MD to the late Edward P. and Dorothy Bury Bartkowiak. Entered the Brothers of the Christian Schools (De La Salle Christian Brothers) on August 29, 1966. Bro. Barry taught at Calvert Hall, Bishop Walsh, St. John’s, La Salle College High Schools, and retired to La Salle Hall. Member of The Providence Volunteer Fire Company, Towson, MD for 40 years. He is survived by his sister Mary Frances Duerr and his fellow Christian Brothers. Relatives and friends may call at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 11007 Montgomery Road, Beltsville, MD, on Saturday, December 15, beginning at 9:30 a.m. where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Interment De La Salle Cemetery, Beltsville, MD. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christian Brothers Retirement Fund, P.O. Box 238, Lincroft, NJ 07738.
