Died peacefully at his home in Silver Spring, MD on Thursday, November 6, 2014. Beloved husband of Loretta J. Ascencio; father of Susan E. Ascencio and Teri A. Bell; brother of Ramon Ascencio and Nancy Knaak. Also survived by four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at Georgia Avenue Baptist Church, 12525 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, MD 20906 on Monday, November 10, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., where funeral service will follow at 11:30 a.m. Interment Parklawn Memorial Park.
