On Sunday, December 29, 2013, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved mother of the Honorable Francine L. Applewhite (Jerry Grant) and Frank Applewhite; loving grandmother of Laura and Gerald Grant; cherished sister of Geoffrey, Patricia, Verlia, Calver, Gilmour, Joseph, Moriba and Terrance. Also survived by six sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; one aunt; four uncles and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
