GEORGE J. ANTON
On Tuesday, September 14, 2010 of Bethesda, MD. Father of Vasiliki “Valli” Anton (Steven) Dell’Acqua; grandfather of Alexander Francis Dell’Acqua; brother of Thomas J. and Peter J. Anton. Mr. Anton was a World War II veteran, participated in the Battle of the Bulge, was captured by the Germans and was a POW until the end of the war. He was a recipient of the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Friday, September 17 from 7 to 9 p.m. Graveside service and interment at Arlington National Cemetery on Friday, October 1, 2010 at 3 p.m. (Please assemble at the Administration Building by 2:30 p.m.).
