WILLIAM AVERETTE ANDERSON (Age 76)

Died on Sunday, December 29, 2013 in Kauai, Hawaii. Born in Akron, OH and lived in Silver Spring, MD since 1976. Beloved husband for 45 years of Norma Doneghy Anderson; father of Candice Anderson (Dorian Butts); brother of Janice Spear. Also survived by a sister-in-law, Marie Doneghy Medeck (David); brother-in-law, Joseph Doneghy (Marti Thomas) and a host of nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be Saturday, March 22, 2014. The William Averette Anderson Fund for Hazard Disaster Mitigation Education and Research is being established. For more information about the fund and the March 22, 2014 Life Celebration Service, email
