Jorge Lope Alcoba  (Age 91)

On Thursday, February 15, 2018, of Silver Spring, MD.  Beloved husband of Lydia Alcoba ; father of John (Elizabeth Carole) Alcoba, Mabel (Jeremy) Harris, Marcelo (Jocey) Alcoba and the late Javier (Nereida) Alcoba;  grandfather of Sean, Jason, Christine, Katherine, Aaron, Mikhail, Roy, Melissa, Alberto, Jorge, Emily, Michael, Casey;  great-grandfather of James, Claire, Ethan, Alex, Lisa, Freedom, Marcus, Angieliz, Yailyn, and Yocelyn. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. He is remembered for his courage, perseverance, intelligence,  sense of humor, but above all, for the love and dedication to his wife, Lydia, and his children.  Family will receive friends at St. John the Baptist Church, 12319 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, MD, Thursday, February 22, 2018, from 10 to 10:30 a.m., where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m.  Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
