MANNY DIAZ
With a deep love of life and faith in God’s presence in his life, Manny Diaz, 41, was peacefully welcomed into God’s arms on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at 8:15pm. Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Manny loved him for his bright smile, humor, fancy footwork, sense of style, and zest for living life to the fullest. While Manny unfortunately faced several health battles during his young life, including two kidney transplants and lymphoma, he did not let that set him back from following his passion of dance, exploring the world, and marrying the true love of his life, Christine. Manny was proud to have competed in a professional ballroom competition nine months after his first kidney transplant and ran a half marathon a year after his second kidney transplant. Some of his most life giving moments included when he was dancing, snowboarding, traveling, trying new foods, and walking the Camino this past year in Spain. Nothing could hold back his will and spirit. One of the kindest souls you could ever meet, Manny loved spending time with his family and friends, both near and far. His last days were spent telling his community how much he loved them.
Manny danced into the hearts of everyone he met and his footsteps have left a lasting impression on us all. He is lovingly survived by his wife, Christine; mother, Maria; father, Manuel; brothers, Carlos and Miguel; Sisters, Dalia and Sandra; as well as twenty-two nieces and nephews who lovingly call him “Tio Manny.”
