FREDERICK MANLEY CHANEY (Age 67)
On Wednesday, April 2, 2014, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of Sandra Chaney. Brother of Marvin Chaney, Paul Chaney and the late Theresa Taylor. After serving in the United States Army, Fred joined the Metropoiltan Police Department. After 22 years, he retired and served as a security officer for Montgomery County Public Schools. Fred was last employed by the State Department, Bureau of Diplomatic Security. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, Friday, April 4, from 10 to 11 a.m., where the Funeral Service will follow at 11 a.m. Interment Washington National Cemetery on Monday, April 7, at 1 p.m.
