WHITE, Donna

DONNA WHITE (Age 76)

Passed away peacefully on July 31, 2011 at her home surrounded by family.  Born in Altoona, PA, on February 21, 1935, she was a kind and loving mother, wife and friend. Donna had a strong spirit, was quick to laugh and quick to come to the aid of those in need. Donna was the youngest of six children and worked tirelessly to provide and care for her parents and family while building a successful career which took her from the east to west coasts. She was known for her generosity and her selfless desire to help family, friends and countless animals find happiness and fulfillment.
Donna was preceded in death by her husband, J.D. White, in 1997. Donna is survived by her beloved children: son, Patrick White and grandson, Sean White of Albuquerque, NM, Michelle White of Washington, DC and stepson, Jon White of Las Vegas, NV.
Donna’s family and friends will be gathering at a later date in Albuquerque to celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers, her family requests donations be made in her name to the Lost Dog and Cat Foundation (http://lostdogrescue.org/)
