THELMA VERONICA SIMKINS (Age 91)
On Sunday, December 5, 2010, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of the late John W. Simkins; devoted mother of Patricia Loomis, Nancy Runion, Susan Rose, William Simkins and the late Robert Simkins; sister of Russell Maske. Loving grandmother of 19 grandchilden and 25 great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 72 University Blvd. East, Silver Spring, MD, on Monday, December 13 at 11 a.m. Private interment (family only) at Fort Lincoln Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Cross Home Care & Hospice, 11800 Tech Road, Suite 240, Silver Spring, MD 20904.
