James Patrick Garritty
1932-2016
James Patrick Garritty died Monday, February 1, 2016. He was 83 years old. He was born on February 18, 1932 in Hennepin County, Minnesota. He was the first son of Francis and Irene Garritty. He graduated from DeMatha High School and the University of Maryland. He worked for more than 40 years in the insurance industry as a Chartered Life Underwriter.
Jim was a great family man and a loving father. He married “the girl next door”, Lala Huebner Garritty in 1955. He was a social, active man who was deeply involved in the Catholic Church, Colesville Lions Club and Sigma Chi for the majority of his life. He enjoyed golf, poker and the Redskins. For the past decade, he has resided in Riderwood Village. He was involved in many volunteer pursuits.
He is survived by his son, Dr. Chip Garritty and grand-daughter Kylie both of Bryant, Arkansas; brother in law, Adrian Huebner of Little Orleans, Maryland ; sister in law Agnes Garritty of Manasses, Virginia and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and Friends may call at Church of the Resurrection at Riderwood Village, 3110 Gracefield Rd., Silver Spring, MD 20904 from 10 to 11 am, where Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 am. Neville K. McLaren, Sr. (Age 76)
Passed away on Monday, February 1, 2016. He is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Madge (Hylton) McLaren; 3 children, Karen DeMesme, Chris McLaren (Leisa) and Neville Jr. (Tamsyn). He was a proud and loving grandfather to Jamie, Kadin, Maxwell and Piper. He is also is survived by his brother, Garnet McLaren and sister, Fay A. McLaren and a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at Shrine of St. Jude Catholic Church,12701 Veirs Mill Road, Rockville, MD, on Monday, February 15, 2016 from 10 to 11 AM, with Memorial Service to follow at 11 AM.
Montaha Youssef Arnouk (Age 81)

Joseph Henry Rogers (Age 88)
On Tuesday, January 26, 2016, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of Mary Rogers. He was the brother of Florence McKay, Edna Hughes, and Helen Grant (deceased). Father of Marie Ferguson (husband Bill Ferguson), Joanne Glorioso (husband Sal Glorioso), Tricia McGunigal, (husband Dr. Tom McGunigal) Joseph Rogers (wife Shelby Rogers), Jim Rogers (wife Jane Rogers). He was a proud and loving father, grandfather of 14 and great-grandfather of 5 and will be greatly missed. He is also survived by nieces and nephews. Dad, your memories live on forever in our hearts. We have a new angel looking down on us. We love you.
Memorial Mass at St. Patrick’s Church, Norbeck & Muncaster Mill Roads, Rockville, MD, on Saturday, February 6 at 11:00 am. Interment private. Memorial contributions may be made to your local Alzheimer’s Chapter.
Rosalie Anita Daniels
January 12, 1942 – January 24, 2016

Rosalie A. Daniels “Jeri” was born January 12, 1942 in Elkins, WV to the late James L. Daniels Jr. and the late Rosalie Evans Daniels. Rosalie transitioned to her heavenly home on January 24, 2016. Rosalie recently retired from the law firm of Barnett Bolt Kirkwood Long & McBride in Tampa, Florida.
Rosalie was a loving and joyful person to all who knew her. She loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and shared her love for Him with anyone who would listen. Her passion for life and love for family and friends were evident by her constant communication whether in person, via telephone and/or letters and cards. She loved serving those in need. She had a very giving heart.
Rosalie is survived by her siblings: Laura Taylor, Betty Ramos (Jose), and Joan Twilley (Monte); her children: Margaret Morgan, Robert Morgan (Paulette), and Betty Morgan; her grandchildren: Darnell (Seteria), Duron, Quinton, David, Chais, Shane, Christrian, Taylor, and Jaylen; 7 great-grandchildren; 3 nephews and 2 nieces.
Relatives and friends may call at Chevy Chase Baptist Church, 5671 Western Avenue, Washington, DC, on Thursday, February 4, from 10 to 11 am, where Funeral Service will follow at 11 am. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
