On Monday, May 11, 2015, of Takoma Park, MD. He was a 2013 graduate of Blair High School and a current student at the University of Maryland. Beloved son of Ellen Ensel and Fenwick Anderson; nephew of Patti and Bob Bailie, Lou Ensel and Jennifer DeChant and Denise Matsko-Ensel; cousin of Andrew, Alexander, Ian, Isaac, and Eric. He is also survived by a multitude of friends. A film screening of Lowell Ensel’s work “In the Midterm” will be shown at Hoff Theatre, Adele H. Stamp Student Union, University of Maryland, College Park, MD 20742, on Sunday, May 17, at 4 p.m. Visitation will follow at University of Maryland Memorial Chapel, 7600 Baltimore Ave., College Park, MD (parking available behind the chapel in lot Y) on Sunday, May 17 from 6 to 9 p.m. A memorial service will be held at the AFI Silver Theatre and Cultural Center, 8433 Colesville Road, Silver Spring, MD 20910 on Sunday, May 31, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Contributions in his memory may be made to the University of Maryland Honors College Humanities Program, c/o Office of Gift Acceptance, 4603 Calvert Rd., College Park, MD 20740, payable to “UMCPF” and write in the Memo Section “Acct. 21-21894” or at http://go.umd.edu/ZU5.
