Beloved husband of the late Reba Dixon; father of the late Gwyn Criswell and Darryl Dixon; grandfather of Bryan Criswell and Matthew Bado of McKinney, TX and Ted Criswell III of Crofton, MD; brother of Martha Gardner of Missouri City, TX and the late Lawrence Dixon Jr. and Susan Dixon; uncle of Jack and Pamela Wright of Houston, TX; father-in-law of Ted Criswell, Jr. of Crofton, MD. A World War II veteran serving in the Navy from 1942 to 1946, he was laid to rest on December 7, 2012, the 71st anniversary of Pearl Harbor at a private funeral.

Louis went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 11, 2012. He lived in Silver Spring, MD, for 61 years. He was a graduate of Villanova University and Georgetown Law School. He served in WWII and was a recipient of a Purple Heart. He was an attorney with the Federal Government. He is the beloved husband of Gloria T. Masciocchi; father of Louis A. Masciocchi, Jr. and his wife, Ellen, his daughter, Linda and her husband, John Greco; he is the grandfather of Christina and her husband, Richard Cuevas, John F. Greco, Jr. and his wife, Jennifer Greco, Matthew Masciocchi and his wife, Tara, and Dr. Mark Masciocchi; great-grandfather of Alexa, Cristian, Joseph, Rebecca and Marc. MARY LEHMAN WHITTAM

Mary Lehman Whittam, born in Philadelphia, Pa, on January 24, 1921, daughter of Michael and Anne Mulhern Coleman. She entered into eternal peace on December 7, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank and son Gerald Michael Lehman. Mary is survived by her sons Bernard Thomas (Patricia) Lehman, Kevin Vincent (Peggy) Lehman, Thomas Francis (Lorraine) Lehman, and her daughter, Debranne Marie Lehman Last (Dennis). She adored and was so proud of her 18 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Mary was owner/operator of the Coleman Charm and Modeling School, Vineland, New Jersey. After which she worked and retired from NBC, Philadelphia, Pa. where she met her husband, Frank. Mary moved from Pittsgrove to Silver Spring, Maryland, where, as a devoted Catholic, became a member of the Third Order of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Mount Carmel in Washington, D.C. After the death of her husband, Mary returned to Pittsgrove, and was active in parish work and helped establish the Third Order Carmelites at her church, St. Mary’s, Malaga, New Jersey. In 2005, Mary moved with her daughter and family to Orlando, Florida, where daily, Mary enjoyed the recitation of the rosary, Divine Mercy chaplet, Mass and communion. After a decline in health, Mary moved to the View of Winter Park, Assisted Living Facility, Winter Park, Florida, where she brought her faith, love and Irish heritage to the residents and family there. Room 4 was her love and focus until she passed. MARY KEENE CORNELSEN

Mary Keene Cornelsen of Highland Beach, FL, formerly of Chevy Chase, MD passed away on Friday, December 7, 2012 only weeks before her 90th birthday. Mary, who was affectionately known as Keene, was a long time resident of Highland Beach, having moved there in 1985 when her husband, Ernest E. Cornelsen, M.D. retired. Keene grew up in Baltimore, MD. and attended Trinity Preparatory School. After her marriage, she moved to Washington, DC. During the Second World War, she worked at the French embassy for the free French government. For many years, she lived in Kenwood where her children grew up. She was a member of Kenwood Country Club, Little Flower parish and Mystical Rose Society. Her husband died in 1987. Travel, bridge and spending time with friends and family were her passions. She is survived by her companion of more than a decade Roy Lahring of Highland Beach, as well as four children: Camilla Cornelsen McLaughlin (Jim) of Salt Lake City; Mary Keene Williams (Tom) of Potomac, Sally Cornelsen (Reggie Scanlan) of New Orleans and James W. Cornelsen (Constance) of La Plata, MD. Loving grandchildren include Mary Melissa McLaughlin of Boston; Sean Williams of San Francisco; Abbie McLaughlin of Portland, ME; Parker Williams of Potomac; Cathleen Camilla McLaughlin of Bethlehem, NH; Meredith Williams of Chevy Chase and Kathleen Cornelsen of La Plata. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Lucy Catholic Church in Highland Beach.
