VIRGINIA HARRIS PAULSON
Virginia Paulson, a native of Washington and long time resident of Silver Spring, died on Sunday, June 10, 2012 at Holy Cross Hospital of kidney failure. Called “Ginny” by friends and relatives, Mrs. Paulson was the daughter of Lt. Col. an Mrs. William L. Harris. Lt. Col. Harris served in both World Wars and in many other military actions. Mrs. Paulson lived in Daytona Beach for a time and while there married Mort Paulson, a journalist and author. The couple moved to Maryland in 1967. Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Obsourn of Martinsburg, WV, and Joyce Ramey of Port Orange, FL. Services and interment private.

On Sunday, June 10, 2012, of Rockville, MD. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald P. O’Boyle; two brothers, William E. Chesser (USA) and William Karras; one daughter, Alice Elaine (Bunny) Koehler Shea; and two sons-in-law, Bobby Koehler and Mark Shea. She is survived by her son, Ernie O’Boyle and daughter-in-law, Lou O’Boyle; grandchildren, Shawn Koehler, Tracy Ackerman, Nancy Walker, Patrick O’Boyle, Angela Armstrong, and Ernest O’Boyle, Jr, and their families, including eight wonderful great-grandchildren. Mrs. O’Boyle enjoyed a long successful career with the federal government and generously shared her artistic talents with those she loved so dearly. Born October 5, 1924 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Rocco and Teresa Petruccelli, he is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Margaret Lee Petruccelli of Silver Spring, Maryland; sons, Michael (Maria), Stephen, Paul, Vincent, Christopher and Anthony (Marlies) Petruccelli; daughters, Kathryn Petruccelli, Elizabeth D’Eramo (Dennis), and Regina Honeycutt (Christopher); 11 grandchildren; many cousins, nieces and nephews, and countless friends of many years, especially in the metropolitan Washington area. He is also survived by his brother, Anthony Petruccelli (Cheryl) of Tulalip, Washington; sister, Margherita Woods of Alexandria, Virginia; and sister, Gilda Morris (Ronald) of Silver Spring, Maryland. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Norma Browning, son, John Rocco Petruccelli, and daughters-in-law, Valerie and Joanne Petruccelli.
