Born January 29, 1923 in Baltimore, MD, she was predeceased by her parents, Frederick B. Lauer and Augusta P. Lauer, siblings, John Lauer, Frederick Lauer, Alvera Muth, Ruth Kane and daughter, Anne Marie Fabiszewski. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Joseph E. Fabiszewski, Sr.; siblings, Bernice Edell, Virginia Opfer, Robert Lauer and Theodore Lauer; children, Joseph E. Fabiszewski, Jr., and wife, Kathryn, Mary J. Fabiszewski and James P. Fabiszewski and wife, Lynne; grandchildren, Maxwell J. Fabiszewski, Hannah L. Fabiszewski and Joshua Creel; and great-grandchildren, Dwight J. Creel, Parker J. Creel and Jordan E. Creel. Of Bethesda, MD on Monday, October 10, 2011. Beloved wife of 57 years to Vice Admiral John “Jack” Costello, U.S.C.G. (Ret.); mother of Sean M. (Stephanie) and Terrence J. (Betty Grace) Costello; grandmother of Benjamin, Catherine, Kevin, Gregory, Mary Margaret, Patrick and Eliana Costello. Lynn was a mother, homemaker, school teacher and spent 15 years as Chairman of the Red Cross Station at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda as well as a volunteer for the cancer clinic there.
